For over two decades, Fauzia Malik has led Tembo Tiles from a single workshop in Mikocheni to a Class One Specialist Contractor whose products pave embassies, ports, malls and the highways of a growing nation.
Her philosophy is uncomplicated: build it stronger than required, deliver it sooner than expected, and treat every site — from a homeowner’s driveway to a national port — with the same uncompromising standards. That conviction has made Tembo a trusted partner for the country’s most demanding contractors and a household name in Tanzanian construction.
Under her leadership, Tembo invested in two of the most sophisticated block-producing machines in East Africa, a fully equipped quality-control laboratory, and a fleet ready to deliver the moment the order is placed. The result is a company that doesn’t just supply materials — it raises the standard for what Tanzanian-made construction products can be.
